Joseph Kosinski's work reflects his background in design and architecture. In 2004, his work was selected for the ADC Young Guns Awards, the only major advertising award for designers and directors under the age of 30. In 2005, he was featured in the Shoot Magazine New Directors Showcase in New York and the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.

The impeccably designed and visually innovative creations of Joseph Kosinski have quickly made him a highly sought-after commercial and feature film director. His work, which specializes in merging live action with purely digital elements, represents a fusion of skills stemming from Kosinski's background in architecture, product design, engineering, and music.
In this live presentation Joe will discuss and demonstrate the conceptual, visual and production processes behind his most recent works. Accompanied by a series of still images, video footage and reference art from various stages of his projects, he will move from treatment to storyboarding to pre-viz and eventually through production and post, exploring how his visuals and designs evolve and translate into the final work.
Joseph is currently developing and directing the features TR2N for Disney and Logans Run for Warner Bros. Joe's recent spot credits include award-winning campaigns for XBOX Gears of War and Halo, Sony Playstation, Hummer and Chevrolet. In addition to his directorial endeavors, Kosinski is currently creating a sci-fi graphic novel with world-renowned British comic writer Ian Edginton that will be published by Radical Books.
